Where can I find you?

 

We are based at San Miguel Marina in Amarilla Golf. We are approximately 10 minutes from the main South Tenerife airport.

How do I book my diving package or diving course with you?

 

You can either call our team or send us an email.

 

When e-mailing please include the dates you would prefer, your level of diver certification, if applicable, and the course / package you are interested in.

 

We respond to all e-mails within 24 hours and will confirm availability and prices.

Can I just turn up or do I need to book in advance?

 

To avoid disappointment we would prefer that you book your diving in advance. We do appreciate that this is not always possible and where we can we will always try to help you.

Do you also cater for diving clubs and groups?

 

Yes, we do. We also offer discounted rates on our diving packages and courses for groups / clubs.

Do I need to pay a deposit when I make a booking with you?

 

We would require a 10% deposit to confirm the booking.

Do you dive from a boat or shore?

 

We offer both shore dives and boat dives.

Do you own your own boat?

 

Yes, we are very proud of our brand new commercial 6.5 meter RIB that has just been delivered and is fully equipped with oxygen, first aid and Garmin electronics.

Is you boat legal?

 

We operate a fully commercial diving RIB. If you are unsure about a Tenerife dive centres boat just check on it’s bow (front) and as long as it shows a number starting with “6A” it is a commercially register boat. If it has no number or starts with “7A” it is NOT a commercial boat and should not be used.

Is your boat handler licensed and trained?

 

Yes, we have several staff who are boat handlers all UK RYA trained and licensed within Tenerife and some even have the RYA Yachtmaster licence.

Is your boat manned at all times?

 

Yes, the boat is manned, by a fully trained UK RYA trained boat handler, all the time to provide assistance entering and exiting the water, and provide surface support.

Does your boat have oxygen and first aid kits?

 

Yes, absolutely. We always carry oxygen and First Aid on every trip.

What is the law regarding minimum age limits for scuba diving in Tenerife?

 

We follow the PADI standards, which also comply with Tenerife law, at all times. The youngest age we cater for is 10 years old for Scuba diving courses.

Are there Sharks in the water!!??

 

None that you need to be concerned about. We are very fortunate to have Angel Shark’s in the water’s of Tenerife and they are simply not interested in human’s, as they are bottom feeder’s. Sharks generally get bad press and there are no reports of attacks on divers in Tenerife.

Can I go diving if I’m disabled?

 

We would be happy to discuss with you any concern’s you may have. Just because you have a disability does not mean that you can not come diving.

Can I complete my confined water's and theory at home, and do my open water with you in the warmer waters?

 

Yes, just bring your referral documents signed by the instructor running your course at home.

What's the water temperature in Tenerife?

 

The water temperature is between 26°C in the summer, and 18°C in the winter. Dry suit’s definitely not required! A full wet suit is good all year round.

What is the SCUBA diving like in Tenerife?

 

The SCUBA diving in Tenerife is fantastic. We have good all year round temperatures with visibility ranging from 10 to 30m+. The  sea life within the water’s of Tenerife range  from Turtles, to Sting rays and an abundance of aquatic life.

I'm on my own, can I still go diving?

 

Yes, all our dives are guided, so there will always be at least one qualified Divemaster to guide you on each dive.

How many dives do you do in a day?

 

We offer a minimum of 2 dives a day and up to 3 in the summer months, seven days a week.

Will we dive with the Dolphins in Tenerife?

 

No, Dolphins are protected by local maritime law; obviously when we spot dolphins on route to a dive site we will stop for an opportunity to watch these fantastic animals from a distance. If we are lucky enough to be visited by Dolphins whilst diving we can obviously watch them.

Do I have to spend my whole holiday doing a course?

 

No, we can split the course over a several days and arrange your course around your other holiday commitments.
